In a world much like our own, strange people walk the streets--people with a unique and mind-boggling power. Within limitations, these individuals can change their appearances to become carbon copies of almost anyone in existence. Now, a lone woman has made it her mission to use this God-given ability to help heal the minds and lives of broken individuals. Marion Ellis, Ph. D., through her private practice and use of her special "shapeshift therapy," is working to bestow "a full life" on others one patient at a time, but can her somewhat strained family unite behind her mission?
Greetings prospective readers! YJB here to welcome you into the wonderland that is the Shapeshift Fantasy web comic/blog. This fantastic story of changing faces and family drama is brought to you for your--*ahem* hopeful--enjoyment with much effort by the authors Pearl Garden and yours truly! Hang around, and if you don't mind all my overselling, feel free to check out all the fascinating antics that we have in store for you with this riveting tale of emotional struggle and difficult choices...oh, and shapeshifting, lots of shapeshifting.
All joking aside, though, PG and I have poured all of our effort into Shapeshift Fantasy, and we sincerely hope you enjoy it. There are some things you should know beforehand, however. First, and possibly most important, the comic reads from right to left. That is, it reads like a manga, not the usual American comic. Second, this is going to be a weekly comic; that is, pages are going to be posted weekly--every Sunday, to be specific. Don't worry, though. We have a special Grand Opening deal for all of you. The first seven pages of Shapeshift Fantasy will be posted daily during the first week, afterward, the pages will be posted on a weekly basis. That's not confusing is it? To make things simple, I'll break it down into a schedule:
