Episode 1- Page Twenty-One

Ahh...That was a nice break. I hope you guys had a wonderful Christmas; ours was just great. We're back to work now, though, and I present to you Page Twenty-One. With New Years coming up, it's almost apropos that we're getting to see a new dynamic as we move Andrea aside for a moment and let Marion and Joia interact. I remember enjoying writing the first draft of this scene, so I'm looking forward to the next few weeks. Anyway, you all have a great New Year and don't forget that Shapeshifting and YOU starts this Friday. See you next week, my friends.--You know who I am.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from us at Shapeshift Fantasy to all of you! Since it's the Holidays, we're going to be taking some time off this week coming up. That means there won't be any posts Christmas week--no page Sunday, no sketch, no strip. We're just chillin' this Christmas, but it won't be for long. The following week, we get right back to work with Page Twenty One and a brand new series of strips entitled "Shapeshifting and YOU" starting New Years Day. Neat, huh? We hope you guys have an excellent Holiday Season. Again, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!--YJ

Episode 1- Page Twenty

Yay!!! Twenty pages! It's kinda like a milestone, y'know. Hey, guys. I'm back for this week's post. If you pay close attention to this one, you'll notice Andrea's role diminishing. That's because Scene Three is going to give you all a little break from Andrea--we all need that every now and again...seriously. Right now, though, we get to enjoy our first experience of the interaction between Joia and Andrea. I enjoyed writing what's featured on this page, so I really hope you like it. Don't forget to check out PG's Sketch of the Week. Oh! And we'll have an important message up this Friday, so be sure to check it out.  See you guys later!--YJ

Sketch of the Week

Hiya! Pearl Garden here with the very first Sketch of the Week. Now, the Sketch of the Week is different from the Drawing of the Week in that it features rougher works, concepts, and practice sketches. Soon I hope to show some of the first sketches of the characters and how different some of them looked... but for now I'll post my most recent sketch of a young... Marion! See the full pic after the jump. Comments and questions are welcome welcome welcome!

Episode 1- Page Nineteen

Scene Three's on a roll! I dunno about you guys, but I like this change in locale...Oh, yes, hello again, my friends. This week, Page Nineteen is up and running--wow, we're already almost up to twenty pages. Doesn't feel like it's been that long, y'know. By the way, over the next pages you'll all get a chance to see a lot more of Joia. Make sure to pay attention--you'll see why soon. Don't forget to check out Pearl's latest sketch on Wednesday. As well, the final part of "The Womanly Art of Shapeshifting" goes up Friday--don't worry, another series of strips are coming right after that. It's all good, you guys. See you next week!--YJ

Hiya! Pearl Garden here. It's the first installment of the Drawing of the Week, and let me just say-- I hope you enjoy the artwork! Each week I'll post an illustration, but I'll also tell about my inspiration, the tools I used, and the "Artist's Best Friend." Critiques are very very very very welcome!
