Character Profile #4: Eli

Breed: Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen

Height: 13” (at withers)

Hair: White with gray splotches

Eyes: Brown

Nicknames: “Sir”, “Old Man Eli”

      Marion’s baby, Eli the PBGV was bought from a breeder back in 2005 to replace Marion’s beloved--but sadly deceased--poodle Petra. Since then, Eli has become the mascot, of sorts, for Marion’s psychology practice, and she often uses him to put her clients at ease during therapy since he’s a rather friendly dog. Any other time, though, Eli can be seen simply wandering the house, playing with his toys, or waiting for Marion to take him for his daily walk.
     In general, Eli is a well-trained dog and considerably laid back; however, he occasionally breaks out into howling fits at inopportune times and will take off after birds and squirrels whenever he gets the urge. Aside from these quirks, though, Eli is usually no trouble for Marion and gets along well with all the characters, including Andrea. Due to his elderly appearance, Marion has taken to calling Eli “Sir” or “Old Man,” despite the fact that he’s not all that old in dog years.




     Okay, guys, this is gonna be the last character profile for a while. This leaves Wednesdays pretty sparse as far as the site goes, but maybe we'll manage to whip something up to replace the profile feature for the time being.
